Meet Our Pastor

 

Pastor Bill Gillespie has lived in Orange County New York all his life. He was raised in a Christian home in Pine Bush. He attended Pine Bush schools and graduated from there in 1973. Immediately following high school he enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at West Point for seven years. He attended Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and Education. He also attended Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT earning a Master's Degree in Secondary Music Education. He retired as a public school teacher in 2012. 

 

Pastor Bill had been married for 33 years. He and his late wife, Linda, have four children and one granddaughter. In January of 2011, Pastor Bill married the late Pastor Richard Bruschi's widow, Linda. She has three boys and nine grandchildren. Pastor Bill and Linda reside in Walden, New York.

 

Pastor Bill and Linda have been ministering at Calvary Bible Church since November of 2014.
